FORKLAND Martin Edward Bailey, age 53, of Forkland, died Dec. 19, 2005  at Druid City Hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005 at Siloam Baptist Church with Pastor Morgan Spiller and Rev. Bill Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in Marion City Cemetery with Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.His parents, Edward Manley Bailey and Sara Lawson Bailey, preceded him in death.Survivors include his wife, Carol Cooke Bailey of Forkland; son, Martin Edward Bailey, Jr. (Denise) of Demopolis; sister, Patty Bailey Colburn (Ronnie) of Tuscaloosa; grandchildren, Gage and Charity Bailey; mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, and many friends.Pallbearers will be Jim Ryan, Jack French, Tom Morrison, Danny Mills, Andy Patton, and Bud Rice.Honorary pallbearers are Tuscaloosa County Sheriff Department, Dr. Jeanne Lipscomb, Dr. Ann Lewis, and DCH  CICU nurses and staff.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Nature Conservancy of Alabama, 2100 1st Avenue  North, Suite 500, Birmingham, Alabama 35203.
