Larry Allen Norris, age 73, of Fosters, Alabama, passed away at his home on August 13, 2025.

Larry is survived by his wife, Geneva Lynn Norris; daughters, Adrienne Smith and Jennifer Spears (Wade); and grandchildren Brody Fuller (Beth), McClain Montgomery, David Spears, brother-in-law Andy Stone, and sister-in-law Louise Pajak. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Allen Norris and Earline White Norris; and sister, Anita Linda Dobson.

Larry, a graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School, Class of 1970, dedicated his career to the BF Goodrich Tire Plant in Tuscaloosa, where he worked from 1972 until his retirement in 2007. He was a longtime member of Englewood Baptist Church, where he previously served as a Deacon and in the Children's Church for many years.

Larry found joy in traveling and spending time with family and friends. He loved to "hang out" with his Fosters friends in the mornings at the local store. Larry was an avid Auburn fan, always ready to challenge any Alabama supporter with a grin and good-natured rivalry. Larry had a passion for collecting knives, caps, flashlights, and walking sticks. His unique sense of humor showed in his fascination with skeletons and his love for hunting Bigfoot. Above all, he cherished time with his family, especially his beloved grandsons, who brought him immense pride and happiness.

Services will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM with Bill Richards presiding. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Brody Fuller, Maclain Montgomery, David Spears, Wade Spears, Jerry Fuller, Ralph Moore, and Ronnie Berryhill. Honorary pallbearers: Fosters-Ralph Volunteer Fire Department, Amedisys Hospice, Englewood Baptist Church, TCHS Class of 1970, and BF Goodrich Retirees.
