Glenda Jean Harless Oswalt, of Northport, Alabama, age 69, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Druid City Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Northport, Alabama with Rev. Gary Lee officiating and Magnolia Chapel North in Northport, Alabama directing. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Harless and Jean Alexander Harless and her son-in-law, Garlie Calbert Davis, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Ray Oswalt; son, Michael Ray Oswalt (Kathryn) and daughter, Amy Oswalt Davis; and grandchildren, Jonathan Kemp Davis and Andrew Benson Davis; and many other friends and family.

Glenda was a proud graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School, Class of 1970.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Davis, Andrew Davis, Joe Oswalt, Alex Oswalt, Mike Chism, and Leon Hallman.

Honorary pallbearers are members of Bone Camp United Methodist Church, TCHS Class of 1970, the faculty and staff of Tuscaloosa County High School, Tommy Mason, Shawn Williams, and O'Reilly Auto Parts District 111, and Stacy and Buddy Moon.
