Cherry Ballard Jones, 72, of Tuscaloosa, AL, passed away on July 21, 2024 at Brookwood Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2025 at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel with Dr. David Bailey officiating. A private family burial will follow at Williamson Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Hulsey; and brothers, John Hulsey and Randall Hulsey.

Survivors include her daughters, Shannon Smith (Jeremy) and Shellye Campbell (Shawn); son, Shane Ballard (Laurie); sister, Ardith Mills; grandchildren, Avery Boyce, Timothy Boyce, Lily Boyce, Slade Campbell, Avery Campbell, Noah Smith, Micah Smith, and Isaac Smith.

Pallbearers will be Greg Mills, Timothy Boyce, Slade Campbell, Noah Smith, Micah Smith and Isaac Smith.
