Born in Alabama to the late Paul Lanier and Dorothy Jones, Mrs. Watson was a home healthcare provider and avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. As a faithful follower of Jesus, she attended church all her life. She will be remembered as a generous, loving, and forgiving person that always put the needs of others ahead of her own needs.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Billy and Heather Johnson; granddaughters, Alyssa Swanson, Abbey Kay Johnson, and Ryleigh Jean Johnson; brother, Johnny Lanier Jones; sister, Diane Johnson (Dale); and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim "Buddy" Watson; sister, Judy Beasley, and grandsons, B.J. Johnson and Jack Johnson.

A memorial service for Charlotte will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 3802 Watermelon Rd, Northport, AL 35473.
